She is my Luna. She brightens up my days and nights. Our story begins on the first winter’s day of last year. Hungry, with a broken leg and freezing, like most strays, Luna was barely alive. Fortunately, our paths crossed. I took her to the hospital. Sat with her throughout the operation. She’s been mine ever since…and I hers. She’s walking on all four legs and eating all my shoes in hope I won’t ever leave the house. She’s happy and in love with everybody. As for myself…my life has only just begun. Not all strays are as lucky as she was. Too few people are as lucky as I am.
